Sepúlveda Raps Jerusalem for 5 Hits
Thursday, April 12th , 2063
It was a sensational day at the plate for Vicente Sepúlveda as he led the charge to a nifty 7-6 win over the Hebrew Hammers. The Tokyo third baseman was pure misery for the Jerusalem pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
"Sepúlveda put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Alfredo Cuellar, manager for the Hebrew Hammers, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
Vicente Sepúlveda doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Francisco Rosales in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
