Montazeri Picked GBC ASAO's Top Newcomer Wednesday, August 1st , 2063 Youngster Shamim Montazeri emerged as the latest GBC AfSAmOc Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Sao Paulo deserved the honor, batting .325 with 5 home runs and 25 RBI. Is the month of July a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Montazeri enjoy the limelight. Batting .306 to date, Montazeri has 7 home runs and 34 RBIs. |
