Bang-up Game: Le Gal Slams 3 Homers

Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Pearls-Monarchs game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.
Tokyo first baseman Jules Le Gal thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Tokyo to a win, 12-9, over London.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Le Gal said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Le Gal, who is tied for 10th in the GBC EA in hits with 120, was 3-for-5 on the day with 6 runs batted in.
Jules Le Gal hit a solo-shot off Jude Bisdu in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jude Bisdu in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, struck out in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Ramón Ocampo in the 9th.
In 115 games this season, Le Gal is batting .282 with 120 hits and 29 home runs. He has scored 90 runs and driven in 98.
