Rob Scott Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year

The season is ending on a bad note for Rob Scott, starting pitcher for the Pretoria Rhinos. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Scott was hurt against the Bloemfontein Cats while throwing a pitch. He suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 10 months.

This season, Scott has crafted a 4-0 mark with a 3.17 ERA in 48.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .219 against him and he has 53 strikeouts.
