Pretoria's Sritharan Will Miss Season Saturday, July 8th , 2062 A blow for Ana Sritharan today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 6 months with a ruptured disc. Sritharan suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Pretoria Rhinos are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Sritharan's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Thus far this season, Sritharan has compiled a 2-0 record, made 16 relief appearances with no saves, hurling 23.1 innings and striking out 20. He has held the opposition to a .256 batting average with a 4.63 ERA. |
