Barfoot Wins ABA Player of the Week Trophy Monday, August 14th , 2062 In the twilight of his career, 36-year-old Taylor Barfoot of Luanda recaptured some of the old magic last week and came away with the African Baseball Alliance Player of the Week Award. "I've been playing since I was a kid," Barfoot told reporters, "but you're never too old to feel the thrill of success." Barfoot outpaced the rest of the league's hitters last week, reeling off 8 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs, and 12 RBIs to stake his claim to the award. In his 2062 season totals, Barfoot has 17 home runs, .279 BA, .321 OBP, 64 RBIs and 54 runs scored. |
