Ndali Stymied by Kalil Thursday, May 31st , 2063 The Ndali Barons were almost helpless in their 2-0 loss to the Port Elizabeth Windies and hurler Michael Kalil. Kalil kept the Barons confused all game, spinning a 5-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Kalil," Ndali manager Dean Berg said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 36-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 13 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Kalil said.
