The Yungho Frenzy star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Okawa River Kings to advance to the World Series. The Frenzy won the final game at River Kings Ballpark by a score of 19-8 and the series 4-2. "I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Mendoza. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs." For the series, Mendoza hit .348 with a .464 on-base percentage. He had 5 home runs, drove in 10 RBI and scored 8 runs. The Yungho Frenzy don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Taipei Tigers - Bangkok Avengers series. Bangkok leads the series 3 games to 2.
