Agana Bats Silenced by Johnston
Monday, September 10th , 2063
Jarrod Johnston was in a mood to talk following the Tokyo Magic contest against the Agana Admirals, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Admirals, 9-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Johnston said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Agana on a 4-hitter, allowing no walks and racking up 7 strikeouts.
In 25 starts this season, Johnston has compiled a 10-10 record and a 3.89 ERA.
