Varzugin Honored by Far East Baseball League Monday, June 2nd , 2064 It was some kind of week for Aleksi Varzugin of the Jakarta Wet Sox. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .579 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Far East Baseball League. Last week Varzugin went 11-for-19, chalked up 2 home runs and 5 RBIs and scored 4 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. This year, Varzugin is hitting .579 with 2 home runs. |
