Chen Sizzles with 25-Game Batting Streak Monday, April 16th , 2063 Tu-an Chen's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 1-for-4 in his team's 12-1 triumph over the Xian College Pipers at Xian College Grounds. The 19-year-old right fielder has now hit safely in 25 consecutive games for the Blasters. Tu-an Chen singled in the 1st, hit a sac fly in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and flied out in the 9th. For the year, Chen has hit at a .440 clip with 60 RBIs, 18 home runs and 67 runs scored. |
