He was 4-for-4 at the plate and hit for the cycle, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. "My numbers were gaudy but lots of guys deserve a share of the credit today," McElroy said later. David McElroy hit a two-run home run off José Muñóz in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th and singled in the 7th. To date this season McElroy is hitting .292 with 1 home run.
