Tims Helps Bears Win, 7-4, with Pair of Homers
Powered by Keith Tims, the San Fernando Bears downed the Valencia Stars, 7-4. Tims went 3 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk for the Bears. The winner in relief was Morgan Tomsett. He is now 5-12. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. San Fernando goes to 85-71, Valencia to 55-101.

Tims had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Bears went on to win.

"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Tims told the San Fernando Observer.
