The Boise Spuds, behind a great outing from Josh Clark, who finished 2nd in the FL in wins with 17 in 2054, defeated the Cobble Hill Robins, 2-0, at F. Nephi Grigg Memorial Stadium. The Spuds saw their win-loss record go to 39-50. At the same time, the Robins fell to 35-54.

In his 106-pitch effort, Clark allowed no runs on 2 hits over 7.1 innings. He walked 3 and struck out 5.

"Josh was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said Boise manager Mario Contreras.
