Ho-Dac Goes 5-for-6
|
5 hits in a game is generally considered a noteworthy achievement, but for Gap Ho-Dac, it felt rather hollow.
The 16-year-old went 5-for-6 at the plate at Steelers Ballpark, but his Chang Beer Elephants fell to the Buffalo Wild Wings Buffalos, 27-24.
"It's hard to get too excited," the left fielder told BNN following the game. "After a game like this, everyone's quiet and they just want to go home."
Gap Ho-Dac singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, walked in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and singled in the 10th.
At the moment, Ho-Dac is batting .416 with 9 home runs and 35 RBIs. He has played in 23 games and scored 29 times.
