Keith Topper put on a hitting clinic as the Texaco Stars dumped the POS Portal Machines, 25-6, at Ballpark of Spokane HS.

The Texaco third baseman made POS Portal defenders earn their pay, lashing POS Portal pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Topper said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Keith Topper doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Dan Metzler in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 9th and walked in the 9th.

To date this season, Topper is hitting .398 with 10 home runs.
