England Gets 5 Hits
Even as a kid, Troy England said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Ankara HS Grounds, England showed how well he learned that lesson.

The 15-year-old left fielder had 5 hits in 6 at-bats for the Brisbane Beacons, helping his team knock off the Perth Galaxy by a score of 15-14.

"They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did."

Troy England singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Caspar Fowler in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
