Tim MacPherson had an answer for everything the Brisbane Beacons threw at him at The Beacon. The Guam second baseman went 5-for-7 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Emperors a win, 16-4.

Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, MacPherson said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."

Tim MacPherson struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th, tripled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
