Folsom's Fuentes Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits
Folsom shortstop António Fuentes had a big day at Lisa Rinna Field against the Medford Mules. The 19-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led to the 23-2 Foxhounds triumph over Medford.

"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Fuentes said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."

António Fuentes hit a three-run home run off Javier Gonzáles in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Marin State in the 4th, was hit by a pitch in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run triple in the 9th.

For the year, Fuentes is batting .282 with 15 home runs, 67 RBIs and 61 runs scored.
