Takahashi Sticks It to PL Pitchers

The premier performer in the Provost League this week was Matsusuke Takahashi of the Prince George Cougars.
The hot-hitting 23-year-old right fielder put up a .441 average and .472 on-base percentage, piling up 15 hits in 34 at-bats, 5 home runs, 16 RBIs and 9 runs scored.
That kind of hitting got him the PL Player of the Week honors.
In 54 games Takahashi is hitting .333 this season with 75 hits, 18 home runs, 60 RBIs, 17 walks, .384 OBP and has scored 41 runs.
