Isacco Aglietti impressed in the 7-4 Moscow win over Buenos Aires. Aglietti, who finished 5th in the GBC in hits with 184 in 2057, went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Moscow starter Edward Morrow was credited with the win after throwing 90 pitches over 5 innings. His record now stands at 2-0. Pablo Alcantara earned the save, his 3rd.
Aglietti contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Moscow in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 4-3, Aglietti took a fastball from Javier De Jesús and stroked the home run to left-center. His 27th home run of the season allowed the Thunder Bears to leap in front, 5-4.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Aglietti.
Moscow goes to 94-68, Buenos Aires to 83-79.
