Singapore College Advances to World Series
While it wasn't a complete mismatch, the Singapore College Polar Bears showed themselves to be the superior team in the League Championship Series, downing the Madras College Salmon Kings 4-1.

"Nothing is ever easy in the Expedition League playoffs. Whether you're a favorite or an underdog, you can't take anyone lightly or you'll get burned," said Reginald Ladd, who was named series MVP after a standout offensive performance.

Singapore College won the final game by a 3-2 count at Madras College Grounds to clinch its spot in the next round.

They will hope to once again rely on Ladd there, as he hit .438 with 2 home runs, 5 RBI 2 runs scored during the series.

The Singapore College Polar Bears don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Pyongyang College Werewolves - Bombay College Angels series. Bombay College leads the series 3 games to 1. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
