Daytona Beach Moves on to The Showdown
The Daytona Beach Cruisers were paced by a strong offensive output from Al Pryor as they downed the Paraiso Sea Dogs 2-1 to win the The Face Off.

Daytona Beach won the final game by a score of 13-4 at Dog Park to send themselves off to the The Showdown.

"I wasn't so much focused on putting up big offensive numbers as I was about ensuring we won the games. So it's mission accomplished there," said right fielder Pryor, who was named MVP.

For the series, the MVP hit .600 with a .600 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Daytona Beach Cruisers will play against the Punto Fijo Drillers in the next round. Punto Fijo won their series against the Saint Johns Water Wolves 2 games to 1. The The Showdown is scheduled to begin on September 1st , 2063.
