Furio Bags DNL Best Player Award

When it came to hitting the baseball, Marcos Furio was in a class by himself in the Donaldo League this past week. Nobody did it better.
The outstanding left fielder for Sioux City tagged opposing pitchers for a .435 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 4 homers, 8 runs scored and 10 RBIs.
This year, Furio is hitting .263, produced 40 RBIs and 16 home runs, scored 58 times and gotten on base at a .392 rate.
