Rocky Mountain and Boise duked it out and the Oysters came out victorious.

Though he had a stellar game, Perry Taylor could not prevent his team, the Boise Spuds, from losing, 7-4, to the Rocky Mountain Oysters. Taylor went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. Denny Tabb earned the win. Jack McNeil took the loss for Boise.

Malik bin Mazin had a big grand slam home run for the Oysters in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Rocky Mountain leading 3-2 and the bases loaded, he sized up a fastball from Jack McNeil, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2053 draft, and punished it. The result was his 21st home run of the season, which put the Oysters on top, 7-2.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," bin Mazin told the Rocky Mountain Observer.

Boise has now lost 4 in a row.
