Xi'ning Moves on to World Series

A 6-2 triumph at Wildcats Ballpark has wrapped up the League Championship Series for the Xi'ning Wildcats.

"We're off to the World Series," said Wildcats first baseman José García, who was named series MVP after his club eliminated the Beijing Abbots by a series score of 4-2. "You can never take a win in a series like this for granted," he said.

The Xi'ning Wildcats will play against the Chengdu Running Rebels in the next round. Chengdu won their series against the Guangzhao Ports 4 games to 1. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
