The Portland Lumberjacks downed the San Fernando Bears, 8-3, at The Trail in Multnomah. Matt Pruitt led the way, going 3-for-4 for Portland. Portland reliever Erasmo González picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Dhrtatman Seshadri absorbed the loss. The victory makes Portland 10-11.

Portland took the lead, 7-3, on Mynorli Gaajlimitz's 2nd home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off San Fernando pitcher Myung-joo Pak in the bottom of the seventh.

"We were able to put some runs on the board," said Gaajlimitz after the game.
