No one was more impactful than Mynorli Gaajlimitz in the 6-3 Portland win over Long Beach. Gaajlimitz, who led the FL in hits with 268 in 2060, went 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. Long Beach, with the loss, is 13-14.

Greg Squires had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fifth for Portland. With the bases loaded and the Lumberjacks leading 4-3, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"We didn't play well enough to win," said Long Beach skipper Mike Ellis.
