Parra Goes 5-for-5 Against Jamestown
After a 5-hit effort to lead Trois-Rivieres's 15-0 victory over the Jamestown Comets, right fielder Luis Parra told BNN beat writers it had been "a special day."

"It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "Three or four is better, but five or more is out of sight. And to do that at the Warren Cox League-level is really something special."

The 25-year-old player earned his accolades at Krugerville Fields with a spectacular 5-for-5 game against the Comets.

"His swing is getting there," said Salmon Kings skipper Cris Vázquez, who spoke glowingly of Parra after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Luis did that to perfection."

Luis Parra hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and singled in the 7th.

Parra is hitting .361 this season with 10 home runs, 67 RBIs and 60 runs scored. He has 137 hits in 379 at-bats.
