The Portland Lumberjacks defeated the Bikini Krill, 9-8, in part because of designated hitter Mynorli Gaajlimitz. Gaajlimitz went 3 for 5 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Lumberjacks. The loss drops the Krill to 13-19.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Portland catcher Allan Uecker, facing Brain Capps, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Lumberjacks the 9-8 win.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Portland manager Mons Raider.
