Charlesbourg's Blau Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits
It was a parade of hits for Tom Blau of the Charlesbourg Castors at Castors Field.

Connecting with regularity, Blau finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but the Seminoles rose to the occasion and rained on his parade by winning the game, 6-5.

"Blau was really good, we were just a little better," said Seminoles manager Semei Kwakou in the postgame interview. "It's all right with me if he gets 5 hits every game against us, as long as we win."

Tom Blau singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Pablo Delgado in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Dave Schantz in the 9th.


Batting .327 to date, Blau has 7 home runs and 22 RBIs.
