Bears Get Past Sacramento for 2-1 Win
|
The San Fernando Bears got a magnificent performance from pitcher Alexander Swanson, who muffled the Sacramento offense en route to a tight, 2-1 Bears win at The Basilica at Muskrat Slough. The Bears go to 19-22, putting them 6th in the Frick League Pacific Division.
San Fernando took the lead, 2-1, on Aggur Lugono's 5th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Sacramento pitcher Claudio Torres in the top of the eighth.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Sacramento manager Fernando Pacheco, "let me know."
