Wet weather did not postpone the San Fernando-Sacramento ballgame.

The San Fernando Bears topped the Sacramento Mad Popes, 6-5, in Frick League action at The Basilica at Muskrat Slough. The game was highlighted by the performance of San Fernando pitcher Dhrtatman Seshadri. The 5th-place Bears are 20-22.

Miguel Lussier had a big 2-run home run for the Bears in the top of the fifth inning. With San Fernando leading 4-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from Mario Reyes and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 4th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bears ahead, 6-1.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Seshadri told the San Fernando Observer.
