The San Fernando Bears beat the Madison Wolves, 6-3, at Chico's Bail Bonds Field. Qutuz Mahdi, in particular, was impressive. He was 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI. Dhrtatman Seshadri locked down his 2nd save. San Fernando is now 27-18. Madison is 14-31.

In the first inning, Mahdi had a 2-run double for San Fernando. It was his 9th double of the season and put the Bears on top, 2-0.

San Fernando manager Gonzalo Escobar was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.
