River Monsters Improve to 29-20 with 5-2 Win
The Twin Cities River Monsters got a marvelous performance from pitcher Yoshii Takuda. The right-hander kept the San Fernando offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 5-2 Twin Cities victory at Chico's Bail Bonds Field. Andrés Gonzáles earned his 5th save, after closing out the game. The River Monsters, now 29-20, have won 5 in a row.

Twin Cities used a clutch at-bat from Todd Tatlock to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the River Monsters ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We take it day by day here," said Tatlock, "and today was a good one for us."
