Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Nelson Francisco of the Starbucks Hot Shots had one of those moments when he went 5-for-6 at the plate in his team's 22-11 win over the General Electric Capitals at Ballpark of Huntington Beach HS.

"I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 14-year-old shortstop told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years."

Nelson Francisco singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Gustavo Kaffash in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Miguel Cuevas in the 8th.

For the season, Francisco is currently batting .273 with 6 home runs and 25 RBIs. In 36 games he has reached base at a .404 rate and scored 39 runs to date.
