High Point Takes Interior Series in Deciding Game Tuesday, September 6th , 2061 The High Point Hammers and Bismarck Churchills left it all on the field in the Interior Series. The evenly-matched series featured a bit of everything and in the end, High Point won the final game 9-1 to win the series 2-1. "Full credit to Bismarck, they played a great series and pushed us to the limit. But we're a tough team to beat. The guys are playing with a lot of confidence now," said Joseph James, who was named the series MVP for High Point. James had a 0.00 ERA over 8 innings pitched. He added 7 strikeouts with a 1-0 record. The High Point Hammers will play against the Reno Aces in the next round. Reno won their series against the Trois-Rivieres Salmon Kings 2 games to 1.
