Drake League Outpost Winner is Mississauga Spartans Sunday, August 20th , 2062 It's a banner year for the Mississauga Spartans, they have won the Drake League Outpost. "There's so much pride in our room and on our roster, anything but a division title wouldn't have been acceptable," said center fielder Jedidiah Marzuq. "In the playoffs we'll just have to take it one day at a time and keep battling." The Spartans this year have battled to a 79-49 mark, which is good for the club's 9th Drake League Outpost title. "I'm extremely proud of my players and look forward to seeing what we can do in the postseason," said manager Wing-kit Seah. |
