Owiti Pitches Reno to Shutout Victory Wednesday, August 23rd , 2062 Ben Owiti handcuffed the Santa Cruz Spartans at The Railroad Station, coming away with a 5-hit, complete game shutout. "I had everything working for me out there," the Reno Aces right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted." With his stuff working, Owiti had little trouble with the Spartans and led the Aces to victory, 2-0. He recorded 6 strikeouts and 1 walk in an impressive performance.
