Red Spins No-Hitter Against Alpine Valley Wednesday, August 23rd , 2062 It was a fantastic day for Bismarck Churchills starter Bob Red and a lousy day for the Alpine Valley Snow Creatures. The Bismarck hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Snow Creatures, as the Churchills cruised to a 14-0 win. When it was all over, Red was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter. "The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," Red said later.
