Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Saturday, August 26th , 2062 Inzamam Hashemi of Providence and Jorge Souza of Charleston were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Hashemi will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Souza was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. A look at his season totals shows Hashemi with 8 home runs, .285 BA, .368 OBP, 27 RBIs and 41 runs scored. He has made no relief appearances this year with 0 saves. Souza has achieved a 7-10 record while holding opposing hitters to a .292 batting average and posting a 4.35 ERA. He has tossed 153 innings, given up 182 base hits, fanned 119 and issued 44 walks. |
