Season May Be Over for Aces Edison Monday, August 28th , 2062 António Edison has to call it a season. The Reno Aces shortstop sustained a season-ending injury against the Jamestown Comets and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Edison was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn anterior cruciate ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 8 months. This year, Edison is hitting .342, produced 28 RBIs and 4 home runs, scored 43 times and gotten on base at a .382 rate. |
