Spartans Win Interior Series Wednesday, September 6th , 2062 The Mississauga Spartans and Reno Aces held nothing back in an entertaining Interior Series that went the distance. In the end, it will be Mississauga advancing to the Series of Accountability, after a 7-2 triumph in the final game at Duane Whitley Field, to wrap up the series 2-1. The Spartans players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Aces. Ramón Rodríguez was named series MVP for Mississauga. For the series, Rodríguez hit .462 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 1 runs. The Mississauga Spartans will play against the Bismarck Churchills in the next round. Bismarck won their series against the High Point Hammers 2 games to 0.
