Oksuzian Hits in 31 Straight Games Wednesday, April 25th , 2063 Mauro Oksuzian's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Kamloops. The 21-year-old first baseman extended it once again, this time bringing it to 31 games with a 2-for-5 performance against the Jamestown Comets. The Moops won the game, 12-11. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Mauro Oksuzian grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, flied out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Oksuzian is hitting .434 for the season with 2 home runs, 18 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has 43 hits in 99 at-bats and played in 23 games. |
