Borman Swings for the Cycle Thursday, May 3rd , 2063 Alberto Borman accomplished one of the rarer feats in baseball when he hit for the cycle against the Plum Island Robisquitos in the 14-1 Frederick Travelers win at Travelers Field. Afterward, Borman acknowledged that his accomplishment was special, but said he was more interested in helping the Travelers win. "Maybe one day I'll look back on this with more meaning, but right now I just want to go out tomorrow and put some good swings on the ball and help my club win another game," Borman said. On his historic day, he went 4-for-5 with 4 RBI and 3 runs scored -- and also got a spot in the history books. Alberto Borman singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Gustavo Pineda in the 6th, tripled in the 8th and hit a three-run double in the 8th.
