Hit Parade: Brown Pops 5 Hits Saturday, July 7th , 2063 Peoria first baseman Jim Brown had a day to remember, 5-for-6 against the Charleston Clippers at The Bear Stearns Slum as the Spirits picked up a win, 15-7. "He was patient up there," Peoria skipper Jorge Feliciano told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Brown has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Jim Brown singled in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Ni Hsieh in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
