Márquez Parks 3 for Weymouth

In a powerful performance that left the fans at Clover Field buzzing, Weymouth Irish first baseman Jesús Márquez blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 7-6, over the Providence Bees.
"Everything was clicking," Márquez told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Márquez shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Irish manager José Aguilar said. "Jesús played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Jesús Márquez struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off José González in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off José González in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off César Salinas in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
For the season, Márquez is currently batting .269 with 15 home runs and 43 RBIs. In 77 games he has reached base at a .363 rate and scored 39 runs to date.
