Super Swinger -- Franco Slams 5 Hits Saturday, August 25th , 2063 Rodrigo Franco was at the head of a Kamloops hit parade at Moonlite BunnyRanch Park. The second baseman went to the plate 6 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Moops to a nice 21-4 victory over the Carson City Gamblers. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Franco told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Gamblers skipper Daniel Jordan said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Rodrigo Franco flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off John Moran in the 5th, singled in the 7th, walked in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
