Drake League Far West Won: High Point Crowned Monday, August 27th , 2063 The High Point Hammers are champions of the Drake League Far West, but don't plan the parade quite yet. "It's a nice accomplishment, but we haven't done anything until we win the The Final Judgement," said reliever Lorenzo Galindo. "We're going to celebrate this for sure, but the real celebration is still to come for fans in High Point." The club's record currently sits at 85-50. It is the team's 23rd division title and they will be seeking the franchise's 5th Warren Cox League championship. Team manager Jesús Rivera said he plans to take some time to celebrate the division title, but then it's "back to work" for members of the team and coaching staff. |
