Xplorers Mathematically Out of Playoffs Tuesday, August 5th , 2064 The Sioux City Xplorers were certainly not a team of destiny this year and now they have been eliminated from playoff contention. "We thought we had a better chance than this," said starting pitcher Kyle Steedman. "It's a big disappointment." Sioux City last appeared in the postseason in 2054. This is their 10th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 52 times in their 70-year history. |
